Women of Kusmi are becoming self-supporting

Women's group members presented natural products to the Chief Minister, making economic progress through local products

Continuous efforts are being made by the Chhattisgarh government for the empowerment of women. Women are also preparing a new path of economic progress through self-help groups in every part of the state. These include women from areas like Kusmi, settled at the extreme end of Chhattisgarh. Today, women of Sita Mahila Self Help Group of Samri area and Durga Mahila Self Help Group of Kusmi area met the Chief Minister during meeting meeting in Balrampur district today. The women were gifted a basket full of products made by the group to the Chief Minister. Ragi flour, turmeric powder, coriander powder, mustard oil and tamarind pickle were kept in this basket. The members of the Women Self Help Group thanked Chief Minister Mr. Baghel for his welfare schemes and expressed their gratitude.
